About Us
The story
My name is Jessi, and I've had a passion for plants since childhood. I'm fascinated by how they grow, thrive, and beautify a home. It wasn't until 2022 that I discovered my particular love for Alocasias, which quickly became my passion. Caring for and propagating Alocasias, as well as many other plant species, brought me so much joy that I decided to share my enthusiasm with others, not just with my partner, who always actively supports me in every situation.
In 2024, I registered my business – a step that, as you can imagine, involved all the necessary bureaucratic requirements, such as plant passports and various licenses. These tasks were certainly anything but easy, but they were necessary to offer YOU the quality and safety you deserve. After all these challenges, I was finally able to start selling high-quality, home-grown plants. Initially, I started on Instagram, but quickly realized that I wanted to create my own platform where my customers could have a beautiful and user-friendly experience. That's how my first online shop came about.
But my passion extends far beyond plants. Besides the plants I grow myself, I also offer a wide range of accessories – from custom-mixed substrates to pots and even my own 3D-printed designs. I create the 3D prints myself, according to my customers' wishes and in any color they desire. I find immense joy in developing creative designs and offering unique products that perfectly suit every situation and every home.
Today I am proud not only to offer homegrown plants of the highest quality, but also to have built an even more beautiful online shop and to create the opportunity for each of my customers to take a piece of uniqueness home with them.
At this point, I would also like to extend a huge thank you to my partner, who has supported me in all situations from the very beginning, as well as to our four cats, who are always with me, provide the necessary variety and can also be seen as models on Instagram from time to time.
Our small contribution to the environment
For us, sustainability is not a trend, but a conscious decision in our daily lives. When packaging your orders, we make sure to use resources as responsibly as possible.
Whenever possible, we use paper and cardboard as void fill. Plastic materials are only used if they are already available – for example, from our own deliveries, which we collect and reuse instead of throwing them away.
During the cold season, we protect the plants with particular care. Each plant is first rolled in corrugated cardboard to provide stability and cushion against temperature fluctuations. In addition, it is packed in insulated bubble wrap, which protects against cold and helps to retain heat during transport. The HeatPack also helps here, of course. This way, we ensure that your plants arrive safely and in the best possible condition, even in low temperatures.
Our shipping boxes consist of both newly purchased cartons and carefully selected, reused cartons, which we now also receive from our neighbors, among others. Of course, we make sure that these are clean, stable, neutral, and completely suitable for shipping.
With our packaging, we deliberately forgo unnecessary extras that offer no added value and merely generate additional waste. We only use materials that are truly necessary for safe shipping. This way, the packaging remains functional, reduced to the essentials, and resource-efficient – in line with the environment, plants, and you.
In this way, we try to keep packaging materials in circulation for as long as possible and, together with you, make a small contribution to environmental protection.
