Everything about 3D printing

Why is my order taking longer?

Your order may take a little longer, as each 3D product is made especially for you. You can choose your desired color, and we then produce and inspect it to ensure everything is perfect.

Where and how are the products manufactured?

I produce all 3D products myself using my own 3D printer – right here on my premises. Depending on the design, I modify the models as needed, join parts together, or carefully glue them. This way, each piece is lovingly handcrafted with great attention to detail.

How do I care for my 3D products?

You can easily rinse 3D products under clear, lukewarm water. If necessary, they can also be carefully cleaned with a soft cloth or a gentle brush. The products are intended for indoor use.

Important : Please do not clean with hot water or aggressive cleaning agents and do not put in the dishwasher - the heat can deform the products.

Why do my products have a 'notch/seam'?

This seam occurs naturally during the 3D printing process – because the print has to start and end at a certain point. We place these transitions in less visible areas whenever possible.

They do not represent a defect, but are a normal part of the manufacturing process.

Can I return 3D products?

Yes, you can return 3D-printed products – even if you chose the color yourself. However, returns are not possible if the product has been specially modified for you (e.g., in terms of dimensions or according to individual specifications).

Plants and products

What types of plants do we offer?

We offer a diverse selection of plants – especially Alocasias, but also Anthuriums, Philodendrons, Caladiums and many other special plant species that will make the collector's heart beat faster.

Are there any pictures of the mother plants?

We have a gallery where we try to showcase as many mother plants as possible, so feel free to take a look.

Which substrate do we recommend?

We particularly recommend our Premium Mix – a true all-round substrate that we use ourselves for all our Alocasias and Philodendrons. It consists mainly of tree fern fibers, which promote rapid and healthy root growth. The substrate remains consistently airy and loose and is suitable for pots with and without self-watering systems. Because our plants thrive in it so well, we are absolutely convinced of its quality.

How should I react in case of a pest infestation?

If you notice signs of pests such as thrips or spider mites, you should act quickly. First, isolate the affected plant to prevent it from spreading. Then, we recommend a combination of mechanical cleaning (e.g., rinsing the leaves), the use of beneficial insects (such as predatory mites), or suitable spray solutions – depending on the severity of the infestation. It is important to repeat the treatment regularly and to monitor the plant closely.

What type of substrate can be used with the AquaNest?

You can use a variety of substrates with the AquaNest , including our Premium Mix, Anthurium Mix, and of course mineral mixes, as well as moss or Stratum. As long as the substrate doesn't become completely saturated with water, it's usable; feel free to test it yourself.

What do I do after receiving my plant order?

When your plant arrives, give it some time to recover from the journey. Carefully unpack it and check that everything is in order. If not, contact us immediately with photos. Place it in a sheltered spot out of direct sunlight and water it sparingly only when necessary. The plant primarily needs rest now to adjust to its new home. We recommend avoiding major changes (such as repotting) during the first few days, as this may restrict your return policy.

Other questions

What equipment is recommended? (Light, pot, watering)

Make sure you have sufficient lighting for your plants if your living area is rather dark.

Never repot your plant into a pot that's too large too quickly. Plants don't like being suddenly placed in pots that are much too big – their roots often feel "lost" in them. By gradually repotting into only slightly larger pots, they can continue to grow steadily and their roots can develop more effectively in the potting mix. This prevents waterlogging and significantly reduces the risk of root rot.

When watering, it's better to underwater than overwater. Most plants prefer the soil to dry out slightly between waterings. Waterlogging should be strictly avoided, as it can quickly lead to root rot. Ensure that excess water can drain away easily and adjust the amount of water according to the season, location, and pot size.
